A question for some of the more informed about things in nature: I was riding across the Wetlands Park bridge a little bit ago and stopped to look at what was happening below. There were some ducks on the surface, but I also noticed some fishes down on the bottom that looked kinda like the plecostomus I used to have in my aquarium (similar to the picture), but bigger…probably at least a couple feet long, where mine grew to no more than a foot. Is someone letting aquarium fishes loose into the wash, or is what I saw some other kind of fish that’s native to the wash?
