Multiple speakers told a Senate panel on Friday that they would be proud to fly through Harry Reid, Las Vegas International Airport if a name change proposal becomes a reality.

Really? I just ran into this bullshit over the past weekend in California (of course). Now they’re looking to bring it here. Folks, this is why friends don’t let friends vote Democrat.

Plastic bags could be on their way out in Nevada

Plastic bags at retail stores would be phased out — but cost a dime a bag in the interim — under a bill introduced in the Nevada Assembly on Monday.

Decided to long-cut on the way home. Got off the 15 at Baker; first stop was the China Ranch date farm, which had been recommended…had the shake, and brought back some bread. Next stop was Death Valley…made the climb to Dante’s View and took lots of pictures of the valley below. I suspect it’d literally be a cool place to be in the summer. Last stop was in Beatty for gas and grub before RTB. Got home just a few minutes ago. Sometimes you just have to drive. :)
