Exhibit #∞ in how SJWs Always Project

Vox Day proven right again:

http://minx.cc:1080/?post=379744

He’s staying on as governor because Virginia, he says, needs a “healer,” and what better healer that a guy who can supernaturally transfer his own corruption into the bodies and minds of others?

In the Post interview, Northam spoke as if the citizens of his state had done something terrible, and needed to make amends:

“It’s obvious from what happened this week that we still have a lot of work to do. There are still some very deep wounds in Virginia, and especially in the area of equity,” he said. “There are ongoing inequities to access to things like education, health care, mortgages, capital, entrepreneurship. And so this has been a real, I think, an awakening for Virginia. It has really raised the level of awareness for racial issues in Virginia. And so we’re ready to learn from our mistakes.”

What’s this “we” stuff?

Mirrored: Tyrants to be registered with gun owners

The contents of the following list originated at this site, but agents of the goons listed within had WordPress take it down. It’s a list of home addresses and phone numbers (where known) of California state senators who passed the intolerable acts signed into law by Gov. Moonbeam about a week ago. Actions have consequences.

Do these intolerable acts affect me? Only to the extent that I might travel to California to visit relatives…but that shouldn’t be relevant. Any encroachment on liberty anywhere is an encouragement to enemies of liberty everywhere, and should be fought at every opportunity.

Without further ado, the list (cribbed from here before it goes away):

Lenin coined a phrase for people like Sarah Silverman

That phrase was “useful idiot.”  The alleged comedian, with a net worth somewhere in the 7-to-low-8-figures range, is feeling the Bern.  Maybe she should have her gynecologist look into that.

Вперед к коммунизму:

Sarah Silverman Explains Why Socialism Is Right For You

Comedienne Sarah Silverman has switched support from Hillary Clinton to socialist Bernie Sanders, because ‘free stuff for everyone.’

Venezuela Feels the Bern

Our future, should Sanders end up winning:

Venezuela Declares New Emergency: It Has Run Out of Food

Venezuela’s opposition legislature has declared a “nutritional emergency,” proclaiming that the country simply does not have enough food to feed its population. The move comes after years of socialist rationing and shortages that forced millions to wait on lines lasting as long as six hours for a pint of milk, a bag of flour, or carton of cooking oil.

Opposition legislator Julio Borges announced the measure on Thursday, which would allow the legislature to push for more imports on basic food goods and inspect government-owned food companies to ensure they are meeting efficiency standards. “This will make corporations and expropriated lands produce food again, will simplify the process of national and foreign investment, and establish incentives for investors,” Borges promised.

Socialist party members are arguing that the decree goes beyond the scope of the power of the legislature and cannot override the executive decree President Nicolás Maduro put into motion in January, which declared an “economic emergency” and allowed the government to further intervene in private corporations. Venezuela’s Supreme Court extended the viability of the emergency decree this week, in a move many consider an attempt to keep the opposition legislature from asserting too much power over the food industry in Venezuela.

More ACLU fecklessness

We kinda expect them at this point to be missing-in-action with regard to gun rights, but they’ve not been much better at free speech lately.  When it’s their fellow travelers who are misbehaving, they fall strangely silent:

ACLU Silence Enables Campus Anti-Free Speech Movement

The Radio Television Digital News Association recently presented its new First Amendment Defenders Award to Tim Tai, a student journalist who was hired by ESPN to cover the anti-racism protests at the University of Missouri.

“Tai was confronted by University students, faculty and staff, threatening him with violence if he did not abandon his efforts,” the award citation reads. “Instead, he stood his ground and patiently asserted his First Amendment Rights to stand in a public place and report on the events around him.”

One would hope that the ACLU of Missouri issued a statement of support for Tim Tai at the time the video of this highly publicized event went viral on the Internet. But the ACLU of Missouri didn’t even acknowledge that the incident occurred. Instead, they issued a statement that “the ACLU of Missouri honors the University of Missouri students and faculty who displayed courageous and creative leadership …

The next day, when MU’s student body vice president suggested on national television that the exercise of First Amendment rights creates a hostile and unsafe learning environment, the ACLU of Missouri remained silent. Two days later, when a Christian street preacher was physically assaulted by anti-racism protesters while speaking inside MU’s designated “Free Speech Circle,” the ACLU of Missouri remained silent.

This is why the 2nd Amendment matters

It’s to defend against assholes like Keith Ellison and Bernie Sanders, should they get their way and attempt to pursue their eliminationist agenda:

Ellison’s ‘Extremism’ Charge Deflects from Own Subversive Affiliations

“Oath Keepers and Three Percenters [are] extremist anti-government movements,” Rep. Keith Ellison charged in a CNN hit piece we talked about in my last column. I noted then we’d take a look at the pot dissing the kettle, and now seems as good a time as any.

[…]

I’m going to focus on Ellison’s membership – and leadership – in the Congressional Progressive Caucus, founded by Democrat presidential contender Bernie Sanders and containing 69 of the most rabidly left-wing politicians to ever menace the future of the Republic. Or as Obi-Wan said about Mos Eisley, “You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy”…

Importantly, one of the CPC’s core “principles” is contempt for the right to keep and bear arms. They know that every tyranny that ever beat its subjects into dehumanized submission had to first disarm them, rendering them pliable, subservient and helpless.  But don’t take my word for it – take theirs, paying special attention to their demand to ban firearms of militia utility.

OK, so they’re typical Democrats. Is that all I’ve got?

Well, yeah, that and pointing out the CPC’s close ties with another “progressive” group, the Democratic Socialists of America.

[…]

Do you like songs? So does the DSA, so much that they devoted a page on their website to hymns glorifying their “struggle” (i.e., what Hitler called “Mein Kampf” ). The following in particular should be of special interest, since the people they’re talking about, the “bourgeoisie,” are you and me! And they really explain (better than anything I could say) why the socialists need to take away our guns. Ready? All together now:

Are You Sleeping, Bourgeoisie
(Traditional American song, sung in rounds to the tune of “Frere Jacques”).

Are you sleeping, Are you sleeping,
Bourgeoisie, Bourgeoisie,
And when the revolution comes,
We’ll kill you all with knives and guns,
Bourgeoisie, Bourgeoisie

—–

Bourgeoisie, Bourgeoisie, See How They Run
(Usually sung in rounds after “Are You Sleeping, Bourgeoisie”. Sung to the tune of “Three Blind Mice”.)

Bourgeoisie, Bourgeoisie,
See how they run,
See how they run
And when the revolution comes,
We’ll kill them all with knives and guns,
Bourgeoisie, Bourgeoisie

Don’t try to look these up at the DSA’s website; they sent them down the memory hole long ago.  The Internet Archive, however, is your friend.
