The band just played Kenny Rogers’ The Gambler. That was one of three 8-tracks my parents had in the car back in the day. (Dad never bought much into the format, but he did have a ’78 Cutlass Supreme that came with an 8-track player.)

It’s crazy what kinds of memories can get jogged sometimes.
