Loaded 40 rounds of .30-06 and 50 of .44 Magnum…dunno what happened to the .44 ammo box. Guess I’ll venture out to pick up another. While it is still Black Friday, Sportsman’s Warehouse isn’t likely to be as much of a shitshow as (for instance) Best Buy.

Been a while since I’ve made meatloaf. This one’s a mix of pork and beef, seasoned with onion and fajita spices. Instead of the usual breadcrumbs or oats, it’s bound with a couple tablespoons of psyllium husk powder and a couple of eggs. For a first shot at keto meatloaf, it turned out well…held together better than some I’ve done in the past. Might add some Frank’s Red Hot next time, as I used to do all the time. (Meatloaf was one of the few things Tabi liked spicy.)

Veggies were roasted with garlic, Parmesan, and olive oil.

Back on track…scale said 256 this morning. That’s 5 lbs. this past week, 29 since I started.

One more thing I noticed: One of the things a Fitbit will do is track your sleep. Back when I got mine, it said I was only getting maybe an hour or two of decent sleep per night, if I got any at all. A couple of days ago, I was poking around in the app and it said I managed something closer to 6 hours the previous night. Looking at the history, the improvement appears to have started around 3-4 weeks ago…right around the time I got started on this weight-loss kick.

I missed the update yesterday…was only down 1 lb. for the week (24 lbs. total so far), but on the other hand, I’ve had to tighten my belt another notch to keep my pants up. :)

Let us with caution indulge the supposition that morality can be maintained without religion. Reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle.
