Love Gov: From First Date to Mandate

Clever and witty:

Love Gov: From First Date to Mandate

Love Gov depicts an overbearing boyfriend — Scott “Gov” Govinsky — who foists his good intentions on hapless, idealistic college student, Alexis. Each episode follows Alexis’s relationship with Gov as his intrusions wreak (comic) havoc on her life, professionally, financially, and socially. Alexis’s loyal friend Libby tries to help her see Gov for what he really is — a menace. But will Alexis come to her senses in time? Tune in to find out!

What’s wrong with people?

The feds are recommending probation and community service for this scumbag.  Maybe as part of his community service, he can scrub the urinals at the local American Legion and VFW halls, and make sure they’re stocked up on Jane Fonda urinal targets:

Rhode Island cemetery worker used veterans’ headstones as flooring, prosecutors say

Federal prosecutors say an employee of the Rhode Island Veterans’ Cemetery has agreed to plead guilty to the theft of granite grave markers and other cemetery items.

As part of his plea agreement filed in federal court, Kevin Maynard will plead guilty to one count of theft of government property. Court filings indicate the government will recommend the 59-year-old Charlestown resident get one year of probation and serve 500 hours of community service.

Prosecutors said that during an April 23 visit to Maynard’s home, investigators from the Veterans Administration and the Rhode Island State Police found at least 150 grave markers being used as flooring in a shed and two garages.

IRS Scandal: “I was targeted and I’ve got proof it was a Democratically-led conspiracy”

Onetime Libertarian vice-presidential candidate Wayne Allyn Root has the goods:

IRS Scandal: I was targeted and I’ve got proof it was a Democratically-led conspiracy

I was targeted by the IRS in a coordinated attack at the highest levels of government…and we now have the proof.

My IRS files, obtained under the Freedom of Information Act by Judicial Watch, clearly implicate the IRS and a Democratic U.S. senator.

Per Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch:

“The Obama IRS obstructed the release of Wayne Root’s tax documents. The abuse of process Judicial Watch and Wayne suffered through to get these documents is scandalous. Now we know why the Obama IRS was hesitant to give Wayne his own IRS files. These documents show the Obama IRS scandal was more than just suppressing the Tea Party, it was also about auditing critics of President Obama. Richard Nixon had to resign from office for less. The first order of business for AG Loretta Lynch should be to appoint a special counsel who can convene a grand jury to look into the Obama IRS outrages.”

As you’ll read below, the fingerprints of the Obama administration and the Democratic Party are all over my case. Until now, no one could prove the IRS was using politics as a basis for vicious attacks against critics of the president. That just changed.

I was audited in 2011, and it started in a way that government officials and IRS spokesmen claimed in a recent Wall Street Journal article can never happen — with a phone call.

Read the rest. Nixon was hounded out of the White House for far less. Impeach and imprison those responsible for these abuses, and abolish the IRS so that this can’t happen again.

Liars gonna lie

I guess I’ll just keep those rumors of Harry Reid’s pederasty in circulation, then:

Harry Reid is proud he lied about Mitt Romney’s taxes

Harry Reid, D-Nev. has no regrets about his 2012 claims that then presidential candidate Mitt Romney paid no taxes for 10 years.

The outgoing Senate Minority Leader even bragged to CNN that the comments, which had been described as McCarthyism, helped keep Romney from winning the election.

“They can call it whatever they want. Romney didn’t win did he?” Reid said during a wide-ranging interview.

So, in Reid’s world, it is perfectly acceptable to make a defamatory charge against an opponent to damage his campaign.
