How typical

One of the signs of a narcissist is a lack of concern for other people’s time:

Obama arrives late for ‘moment of silence’ for Paris attacks

President Obama walked in late Sunday on a moment of silence being held by world leaders in Turkey to honor the victims of Friday’s terrorist attacks in Paris.

Reporters traveling with the president said Mr. Obama had not yet arrived when other world leaders at the G-20 conference in Turkey began their silent observance around a large conference table.

Mr. Obama walked in after they had begun, and took his place next to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

“I am Jack’s complete lack of perspective”

Because “microaggressions” and “white privilege” are such massive problems, next to Mohammedans on the warpath.  Yeah, I’ve got your microaggressions right here!

Mizzou Activists Complain About Paris Stealing the Spotlight

Campus activists in America showed their true faces during an international tragedy last night: they are the selfish, spoiled children we always knew they were.

Black Lives Matter and Mizzou protesters responded to the murder of scores of people in Paris at the hands of Islamic extremists by complaining about losing the spotlight and saying their “struggles” were being “erased.” Their struggles, remember, consist of a poop swastika of unknown provenance and unsubstantiated claims of racially-charged remarks somewhere near Missouri’s campus.

So debased has the language on American campuses become that these incidents, which many observers believe to be hoaxes, just like previous campus scandals celebrated by progressive media, are being referred to as “terrorism” and a “tragedy” by moronic 20-year-olds who have never been told, “No.”

Click through for their greatest Twatter hits, which have been preserved should any of them try to memory-hole them.

We are through the looking glass

This is why you don’t elect a “community organizer” to do the President’s job:

France Manages a Feat Obama Never Could — Successfully Locating Raqqa on a Pilot’s Map

Twenty bombs dropped on the ISIS/Daesh capital city of Raqqa — the biggest airstrike on Syria in the war, which is hardly surprising, since up ’til now Obama’s been the quarterback.

Nice nighttime afterburner takeoff here. :-)

Bad timing?

If he’d waited a few more years, the influx of Somali “refugees” into Minnesota would probably have made this bit of verbal diarrhea a feature, not a bug:

Minnesota Democrat ends bid for state assembly seat after sympathetic Islamic State tweet

A [Democrat] candidate for the Minnesota House ended his campaign Sunday, hours after he tweeted that the Islamic State group “isn’t necessarily evil” and its members were doing what they thought was best for their community.

Dan Kimmel, 63, announced the end of his bid for office on his campaign website and Twitter account. He said Saturday evening’s tweet was in response to a statement made during a candidate debate, not in response to Friday’s violent attacks in Paris that left more than 120 people dead and more than 350 wounded.

He said his tweet was poorly worded and didn’t convey his intent.

Sure it was. :-P (Presumably) deleted tweet found backed up here:

(How appropriate, that Minnesota calls its Democrats “DFL.”)

“Social Justice” Whiners are effin’ unbelievable

How about a little perspective, you useless eaters? YGBSM:

UN-EFFING-BELIEVABLE! Mizzou protesters are ANGRY Paris terror attacks stole their MEDIA SPOTLIGHT!!!

It’s mostly a roundup of Twatter activity, cached elsewhere because the special snowflakes tried deleting it when they were caught. Their $50k/year indoctinationseducations didn’t clue them in that the Internet is forever.

Looks like Rocky Mountain Gun Shows is going on the sh*t list

They’re among the Nevada gun businesses in favor of Michael Bloomberg’s universal background checks.  Looks like I’ll need to get my reloading supplies elsewhere in the future:

‘Gunquislings’ Deserve Appropriate Response from Liberty Advocates

“[S]ome gun owners and gun dealers are also background check proponents,” Fox 5 KVVU-TV Las Vegas notes in a report on Michael Bloomberg’s bought-and-paid for campaign to end private sales in Nevada. They’ve found two who are happy to go on record siding with out-of-state moneyed elitist interests.

“A lot of people are trying to say we shouldn’t do background checks, they don’t work,” Alex Acree of Fallout Firearms in North Las Vegas gushes. “They absolutely work.”

[…]

Then there’s Kourosh Haroni, who runs the Rocky Mountain Gun Show at South Point Casino. He’s proud of going above and beyond current Nevada law by forbidding private sales.

“That’s our standards at the Rocky Mountain Gun Show,” he proclaims. “That’s what we believe.”

Some good news, for a change

“Jihadi John” has most likely assumed room temperature:

U.S. May Have Killed ‘Jihadi John’ in Drone Strike

A U.S. drone strike targeted a vehicle in Syria believed to be transporting the masked Islamic State militant known as “Jihadi John” on Thursday, according to American officials. Whether the strike killed the British man who appears in several videos depicting the beheadings of Western hostages was not known, officials said.

Mohammed Emwazi was the target of an airstrike in Raqqa, Pentagon press secretary Peter Cook said in a statement. Officials were assessing the results of the strike, he said.

A U.S. official told The Associated Press that a drone had targeted a vehicle in which Emwazi was believed to be traveling. The official was not authorized to speak publicly and requested anonymity.
